How Infrared Heating Works
Iris heaters use infrared radiant energy to warm people, furniture, walls and floors directly, similar to the natural warming effect of sunlight. Rather than heating the surrounding air first, infrared heat is absorbed by surfaces within the room which then gently re-radiate warmth back into the space.
This creates a comfortable, even temperature distribution while reducing heat stratification and improving energy efficiency compared with conventional convection heating systems.
